Steel Staircases
The steel staircase pictured was fabricated and installed by 1510 Engineering, and forms a stately entrance to this shingle style ADU. The staircase features thick-plank douglas-fir treads to compliment the wood texture in the overall structure. Steel Handrails
The owner of this home wanted a cable railing so the view of the beautiful stair treads made from salvage douglas-fir lumber wasn't obstructed. They also wanted a douglas-fir handrail and railing post fasteners placed over the stair stringers. Stock posts available online didn't check all these boxes, so 1510 Engineering was hired to fabricate the custom steel post and douglas-fir handrail. Steel Erection
Once we have prepared all the steel off-site, including powder-coating (if applicable) we deliver the steel to your job-site and assemble and install the steel components.
Steel Dimensioning
Steel fabrication is performed in our fabrication shop, where the steel is dimensioned, holes drilled and welded connections prepared for on-site assembly, then loaded for delivery to your job-site.
